And two in one shampoos, which have both detergent and conditioning components, are now commonly also used as a replacement for shampoo and conditioner,so you better to use these kind of shampoos for your hair.
If You have your sebaceous glands for some time now and for your entire life. And they began to appear beneath your skin during your fourth month in the womb. And are found in their highest concentration along your scalp and your face, so although they are found in everywhere on your body except for the palms of your hands and the soles of your feet actually.
And these glands are usually connected to an individual hair follicles that means except on your hairless places like your eyelids and lips etc where they work alone actually. And now that you know what they are and how they formed? you might want to know what they do actually. The sebaceous glands are responsible for secreting sebum also the natural oils that moisturize and waterproof your skin and also your hair.
The deep in the skin's dermal layer and to specialize secretory cells that absorb fats from the body enter the sebaceous gland. At this point, these cells become sebum actually. And the sebum is expressed into the lumen means shaft of the hair follicle and where it's excreted up to the skin's outer layer and the stratum corneum. If it is in other words and your body burps excreted fats onto your skin and hair.
And as gross as it sounds and also it provides a necessary function. Sebum waterproofs and moisturizes your skin and your hair. Actually without this stuff, the skin can dry and shed prematurely and leaving thriving cells exposed to the elements of yours. But i want to ask you one thing that is isn't allowing sebum to accumulate on our hair and skin the same as being unwashed and oily?
Mostly our bathing and hair washing routines are based on a strange system of depleting the skin and hair of their natural oils by lathering up with soap, shampoos and then replenishing them with moisturizers and conditioners of your hair. So we carry out this daily ritual for a couple of reasons they by Western standards, and the appearance of oily and unwashed hair is generally unacceptable also it just feels kind of gross to go without a bath or shower for more than a couple of days mainly. Now secondly, these natural oils can lead skin conditions like acne vulgaris and where sebum becomes backed up in the hair follicles are creating a smorgasbord for bacteria and in which break the fats into fatty acids So they have chance to create an allergic reaction that presents itself as acne.
And I have received a few emails recently asking about how often a girl should wash her hair? So I did a little research and it’s an interesting topic because there really seems to be a big divide in what people recommend mainly.
So for that how often should you wash your hair? And I Personally, that I was always taught to wash my hair every day. And over the years so however now I have learned that daily washing really dries my hair out actually.
And in these days, because I get highlights and my hair is damaged and I only shampoo 3 or 4 times a week. So this has definitely helped my hair a lot and it’s much less dried out without the constant shampooing and blow of drying.
So according to my self my best suggestion is for you that certain hair types and textures only require washing once a week and where others work well washing 2 to 3 times a week actually.
You know? Thursday’s New York Times style section had an article about hair washing frequency that was only to the extreme. Of Course talked about how lots of women wash their hair just once a week and some only wash once a month and Apparently it’s trendy to spend less time on your hair actually.
And as someone whose hair gets oily after just a few days And I can’t imagine only washing your hair once a month but maybe it would work well for those with dry hair actually? And the idea does sound tempting that who would not want to spend less time doing their hair each week mainly? And I just don’t know how it would really work for the average woman mainly.
So finally what are your opinions on this? And do you wash your hair every day is best?Leave a comment and take the poll below by you want and I want to hear what you think friends!
Hope you enjoyed it!
