2 Put some honey in a pan and boil it untill it is thin.Then add a pinch of cinnamon and add lemon.Make it into syrup.It fights cold

3 Gargling warm salt-water is an old technique, but adding a pinch of turmeric to it can do wonders.Salt and turmeric fights infection and gives quick relief in case of cold.

4 Take a teaspoon of brandy and honey to improve cough.Brandy keeps the chest warm and increases heat in the body,while honey helps to fight cough.



5 To fight common cold,sore throat and cough,drink luke warm water.Drinking warm water reduces inflammation in the throat and it washes out of infection.

6 Amla is a natural immune booster and protect from most of the disease if taken regularly. Amla also improves blood circulation and live functions.

7 Adding ginger , tulsi,and a pinch of black pepper in your tea can actually help you to fight cold.

8 Lime water is good for improving digestion, circulation and also for controlling cold.

9 Take ghee in pan and saute garlic and consume it when warm. It can help you fight the cardamom cold and cough.

1      Scrub your stuff

You Keep kitchen and bathroom counter tops clean, especially when someone in your family has a common cold. Wash children's toys periodically.  

2   Use tissues

Always sneeze and cough into tissues. Discard used tissues right away, and then wash your hands carefully. Teach children to sneeze or cough into the bend of their elbow when they don't have a tissue. 
That way they cover their mouths without using their hands.  

3. Don't share

Don't share drinking glasses or utensils with other family members. Use your own glass or disposable cups when you or someone else is sick. Label the cup or glass with the name of the person with the cold.

1     4 Wash your hands
        Clean your hands thoroughly and often, and teach your children the importance of hand-washing.
