We already write an article about why should we dress up? By the we have to dress up by fallowing our surrounding Atmosphere and as well as the workplace of ours. Because through way of our dressing only people will recognize us to we belonging to the particular category it self.

And this is the second part of the College Fashion How To Dress Professionally series. So we need to fallow some sort of dress code t some sort of works. So here I want to go over what to wear to an interview for a job or internship and also a process that most college girls are going through now or will be soon actually.

Actually an old cliche applies to the interview process is to you need to dress for success and  It sounds stupid, but it’s really very true what you wear to an interview is just as important as what’s on your resume mainly.

In the interview the first impressions are formed in just 7 seconds. and the 38% of a first impression is based on inflection and tone of voice only and 7% is based on what you actually say on that time and a whopping 55% of a first impression comes non verbal cues itself and In short, more than half of every first impression is based on how you look only.

The first reason is your appearance, your appearance makes or breaks you in the hiring manger’s mind first of all.  And even If they like what they see and you just have a way better chance of getting the job on that time.  And even if you say all the right things and if your appearance offends the person doing the hiring, may chances are you won’t be getting the job.

So how do you know what outfit will make a good impression and what ensemble will have the recruiter firing mind bullets at you for a half hour while she pretends to listen to what you are saying

so be prepared and be careful on your dressing mainly.

Actually the first step in figuring out what to wear to your interview is to do some research is

That find out what industry the firm is part of, talk to other people who have worked there if possible, and even also creep outside their office checking out what current employees are wearing if you want primer!
And If you are interviewing in the fashion industry so get to know the style of the company you will be working for actually. So If it’s a designer, know their line and what it represents and also you know their clients and their styles actually before the interview so this will help you with your own wardrobe choices.

So here we would like to give some sample outfits regarding the industry it self.

Conservative Industries

for this conservative industries you need the look like as fallow and you need to do in their industry is  Accounting and Finance and Law and also Consulting, etc.

And you better to go for a simple and chic look if you’re interviewing in a conservative industry  if you just are n’t sure about the dress code for your interview actually.

And  You can’t go wrong with a basic black skirt-suit white collared shirt, simple black pumps, nude pantyhose, a black bag, and pearls mainly.

Creative Industries

Creative industries means like  Advertising, Graphic Design, Music

and when you are interviewing for a job in a creative field and you can usually dress a little more creatively for the interview actually.

Unless you’re sure that the office will be very casual so you should dress fairly formally and adding personal touches like a bright handbag to your outfit and  don’t be afraid to show off your personality  and keep your look chic and classy at all times in the interview it self.

Fashion Industry

If suppose when you are interviewing for a job in the fashion industry or any a fashion internship,so you need to take your wardrobe even more seriously than someone interviewing to work in the regular old corporate world actually and  if you’re going to be working with clothes and also you need to show the people hiring you that you know how to dress well on that time at there.

But if you are interviewing with a fashion magazine, then you should go trendier than normal to show that you understand current fashion.you still need to look professional. And even though it might be a dream job you have to remember that when you’re getting dressed for it.

Hair and Makeup

When it comes to doing your hair and makeup for a job interview, just remember you should try to look as polished as possible while still keeping your makeup simple and understated to the others.

Do Wear

Your hair is should be in  a clean and simple style

A small amount of translucent powder to get rid of shine
on your face Mascara
Neutral toned lip gloss or lipstick you have to use
A small amount of eyeliner and neutral eye shadow it is optional to you.if you want you can.

Don’t Wear

first is the your dirty hair teased out to here

and Tons of caked on foundation
and smokey eye makeup
and brightly colored eye shadow
Glittery or super bright lip gloss are not used for this

So at the end of the day, dressing for an interview is about dressing for the job you want, and showing your professionalism via your clothing choices only. So If you follow the tips above, I know your next interview will be that much more successful.
Hope you enjoy this!
